Le Tamaris restaurant, located on the first floor of the Municipal Complex of Vacoas at Swami Sivananda Avenue, is the place to go for Cantonese and Mauritian delicacy. Le Tamaris is a modern restaurant with a capacity of 100 people. Its cutting-edge food blends with Kissan Sookha, the restaurant's owner and Executive Chef, who prepares a variety of delectable meals. Anju Girdhari-Sookha, his wife and co-owner, is in charge of event planning and administration. Cantonese cuisine is one of the eight major Chinese culinary types, and Le Tamaris offers a wide range of Cantonese dishes, including its trademark dish, "Le Riz Tamaris." Rice, eggs, red, green, and yellow capsicum, carrots, dark mushroom, and chicken make up this vibrant meal. Clients can also order lamb or shellfish if they so choose. This Cantonese gastronomic adventure includes Sao Mai, seafood platters, sizzlers, and gratin. There's also Mauritian masala fish curry, chicken curry, "bol renversé," and noodles. Gratin, Teokon curry, soup, fried noodles/rice/meefoon, and a range of finger foods like cheese and mushroom croquette and Hakien are available for vegetarians. A wide range of liquor brands is also available.
