Samosa Chaat is very popular street food in India. This simple samosa chaat recipe yields a hefty dish of excellent Indian chaat with fresh samosa, chickpeas, curry spices, and tasty chutneys. And it only takes 5-10 minutes to prepare!

Ingredients for Samosa Chaat:

  • 1 store-bought or homemade samosa
  • 1⁄2 cup cooked chickpeas
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind chutney
  • 1 tablespoon of coriander mint chutney
  • 1/4 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 green chili, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley


  1. On a platter, crush one samosa. 12 cup chickpeas, coriander mint chutney, and tamarind chutney on top.

  2. Add the onion, green chili, sev, chaat masala, cumin, red chili powder, salt, pepper, yogurt (if using), and fresh parsley. Using a fork, combine the ingredients. Serve right away. ENJOY!
